Tensions were extremely high in our country when I ran for Tennessee State House of Representatives in 2020. I had no idea how to handle the hostility from people who publicly attacked my Christian conservative worldview.

I felt helpless as people I loved walked out of my life over political differences and it hurt. The most surprising and painful loss of them all was my adult son. ​

Being on the front lines of the political division, and the spiritual revelations that followed, helped unlock my ultimate assignment: "Lady Up" America.

I now understand how my unique experiences can be repurposed for today's challenges in our country through my signature approach to messaging.
